How can I join?
To become a Butex member, simply click the Join Now button on the membership page and you will be directed to the membership form relevant to your organisation type. Once this has been completed a member of the team will be in touch.
What are the membership benefits?
As a Butex member, you gain access to a network of over 100 mobility organisations throughout the UK. You will have access to exclusive resources, networking opportunities, and discounted conference rates and professional development. Please refer to the membership packages table for a list of benefits associated with each membership.
What are the membership fees?
Membership fees vary depending on your organisation type and which membership options are available to you. Please refer to the Membership packages table for the membership fees and their benefits.
How long is a Butex membership valid for?
Butex memberships are valid for one year from 1st January – 31st December.
If you are joining Butex for the first time and it is already 1st July or beyond, we do offer an initial 6 month membership option for new members only.
Butex memberships are renewed in November/December each year for the upcoming year.
Can I attend Butex events if I am not a member?
Butex events are only available for Butex members to attend.
However, if you are an external provider interested in being involved in our events as a presenter, please complete the form on our contact us page.
Are scholarships available for graduate and post graduate students?
The Butex scholarship is only available for undergraduate students. If you are a graduate or post graduate student looking for funding, we suggest you contact the institution you are interested in attending to see if they are aware of any funding opportunities you could apply for.
Do you provide Sponsorship Opportunities?
We have sponsorship opportunities available at our Annual Conference in the UK and at our reception in the United States as part of the NAFSA conference. Sponsorship is available for members and non-members.
