Well, here we go again green steps to maintain green planets !
As far as I know about myself I always Prefer to walk or use my bicycle for short journey which not only help reduce pollution but also benefits me with my health as well -Smart Act .Sometimes, for longer journey I use an electric bike or Voi-e Scooters, which are both convenient and environmental friendly. These electrical alternative not only reduce pollution as compared to cars but also help reduce traffic congestion in busy areas .They are also fun to use and promote a healthier, greener way to travel across the city .As a student, they are especially helpful because they are easy to use and help me reach my lectures on time without the stress of traffic or parking .Even ever I plan to do groceries I always carry paper bag rather than plastic bag which help to reduce waste and protect the environment .As a Vice President Health Care Practice at my University , I took an extra steps by running an campaign “Student Aid ” with a moto of Don’t Dump Donate Instead ! – basically donating unwanted items at the end of the year instead of throwing them . These items are then giving to the new students in the Welcome Week .By doing this I’m also encouraging green steps with in my community and inspiring others to reduce waste , also I love shopping at charity shop like British Heart Foundation and other charity shops this way I am not only helping these organisation which making real difference in people life but also reducing waste . All these small but meaningful actions add up to a big impact . As the saying goes “We don’t inherit the earth from ancestor ; we borrow it from our children “(Native American Proverb ). If I think about how I developed these habits, I can say it started with my family . Since childhood I have seen my mom’s love for gardening . She always recycle kitchen waste instead of throwing it away , using it as a natural fertilizer for our plants .This not only helps protect the environment but keeps our home cooler during hot summer day. As an International Student in Adult Nursing , I regularly apply these small but impact full steps to enhance my contributions towards a safer and healthier environment .
