In England’s grey, I pack with care,
A toothbrush, books, and dreams to share.
But not just dreams I bring a plan,
To tread more lightly where I can.
No plane shall pierce the sky for me,
I’ll ride the rails, cross land and sea.
A train through Europe, smooth and fast,
With fewer fumes left in my past.
Tilburg calls, with bike lanes wide,
Where cyclists glide, and trees abide.
My first stop there? A humble store,
To buy a bike and drive no more.
Through Dutch canals and cobbled ways,
I’ll greet the world with greener days.
Each ride to class, each legal read,
Will honour Earth in thought and deed.
I’ll write a blog, a student’s guide,
On how to live and love and ride.
With SDGs as stars above,
My journey mapped by care and love.
I’ll spotlight laws that shape the land,
From climate acts to food unbanned.
And share the apps, the tools I find,
To help all students walk aligned.
I’ll teach, I’ll learn, I’ll raise my voice,
To make green living not just choice
But duty, joy, and daily way,
For every scholar gone astray.
And when I leave, I’ll leave no trace,
No plastic ghost, no frantic pace.
Just pedals worn, a path well spun,
A greener tale, a job well done.
