Iam aqeel ur rahman studing at univer of East london, and my email address is u2950823@uel.ac.uk
Moving from my home country to tge uk for my masters degree was my first major step in global mobility. Now, preparing for the international placement in another country. I am aware of a profound duality: while global transit drives vital engineering innovation,it borrows heavily from planet. As a mechanical engineer., i know my approach to sustainability cannot just be a theoretical to the UN Sustainable Development goals it must be a lived daily practice across every border i cross.
During my time in the UK, I began by resetting my relationship with transit Sustainable cities and Communities, relaying on a bicycle and public rail net to minimize my carbon footprint. In my living space, I treated resources like a closed-loop system. Strictly managing energy and eliminating single use of plastics. I fully intend to carry these exact micro habits unto my upcomming placement country.
However my most significant impact lies in my technical work. I approach structural problems, system optimizations, and vibration analyses through an eco-friendly lens on this next placement. I am committed to ensuring that the mechanical designs and algorithms I contribute to maximize energy efficiency and minimize material waste.
Ultimately, while international travel carries a carbon debt that I intend to offset through verified programs, I believe the true goal of a global education is net-positive impact. The cross-cultural perspective and advanced engineering skills I gain from this next international chapter will allow me to design cleaner and more resilient systems for our future.
