Three Countries, One Responsibility

my journey has teaken me from India to thr United Kingdom for my studies , and now to germany through an international exchange ptogramme while crossing borders has expanded my academic and cultural horizons,it has also made me more aware of my responsibilty towards the enviroment .

travel offers incredible opportunites to learn from different cultures, perspectives and ways of life. however,it also comes with environmental challenges. As someone fortunate enough to study and travel internationally,i belive that every traveller should make consciouc choices to redunce their impact on the plant

During my studiesin UK and my exchange year in Germany ,i have embraced sustainble travelpractices wherever possible. instead of relying on private vehicles , i usepublic transport , walk or cycle. Germanys excellent rail network has encouraged me to choose trains over more carbon intensive alternatives for regional travel. i also carry a resusable water bottle , avoid single plastics and make effeorts to reduce waste in my daily life.

My commitment to sustainably aligns with the united nations sustainale development goals, particularlu goal 11(sustained cities andcoomunties) Goal12(reaponsible consumtion and production )foal 13 (climate action )through small but consistent actions, i aim to contribute to cleaner communties and a healthier environment.

beyond enviromental sustainbility ,i belive international mobility should create positive social imact. living in different countires has taught me the value of respecting local cultures, supporting local business and sharing knowledge acress borders. sustainability is only about proctingnatural resources but also about building inclusive and connectedcommunities.

Moving from india to theUK and then to Germany has shown me that despite our differences we share one planet and one future. my international placement is more than an academic opportunity , it is achance to proctise responsible global citizenship.by making throghful travelchoices and encouraging sustainblity habits, i hope to ensure that my journey leaves behind meaningful memories reather than a lasting enviromental footprint.
