I understand travel creates environmental impacts. During training, I will use public transportation, carry reusable items, reduce waste, conserve resources, and apply sustainable habits while learning practices benefiting both Canada

As a nursing diploma graduate, I understand that international travel has an environmental impact, particularly through carbon emissions. However, I believe that participating in this training is a long-term investment that will allow me to gain knowledge and skills that I can apply to improve healthcare services in my home country. I am committed to reducing my environmental impact by minimizing waste, using public transportation whenever possible, carrying reusable water bottles and bags, and following environmentally responsible practices during my stay.

Canada is internationally recognized for its commitment to sustainability and environmental protection. I am eager to learn from these practices and apply them in my professional career.

My goals are closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action). Through this opportunity, I hope to strengthen my nursing skills while learning how healthcare institutions can reduce waste, use resources responsibly, and provide high-quality patient care in a sustainable way.

In my daily life, I already take practical steps to reduce my environmental impact by conserving water and electricity, reducing unnecessary paper use, separating recyclable materials whenever possible, and avoiding single-use plastics. After completing the training, I intend to share the knowledge I gain with colleagues and encourage environmentally responsible healthcare practices in my community.
