I think travel should be done in a responsible way, without harming the environment. For me, sustainable travel means making small, careful choices that reduce waste and pollution.
For my internship in India, I will try to travel in an eco-friendly way. I will choose direct flights if possible to reduce emissions. During my stay, I will use public transport like buses and trains, and I will walk or share rides when I can.
I will avoid using plastic as much as possible by carrying a reusable water bottle and bag. I will also save water and electricity in my accommodation and be mindful of my daily habits. I will try to support local shops and businesses as well.
These actions connect to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, especially protecting the environment and using resources responsibly. Even though these are small steps, I believe they can make a positive difference and help keep the environment clean.
